Youth Mentoring & Educational Intervention
I am proud to launch a Youth Mentoring and Educational Intervention programme in North Wales, drawing on extensive experience in pastoral leadership, behavioural intervention, and alternative provision. This service provides structured one-to-one support for young people, focusing on: engagement, wellbeing, attendance, and personal development. The programme is relationship driven, and designed to help young people overcome barriers, build confidence, and develop the skills required to navigate day to day pressure and develop positive routines.
Parental/guardian support
I provide structured educational support for parents and guardians who are navigating home education, alternative provision, or flexible learning pathways. This service is designed to support young people who require a more individualised approach, helping families establish clarity, consistency, and sustainable routines around learning.
Support can include:
Guidance with home schooling and blended learning models
Curriculum design and learning pathway planning, aligned to age, ability, and future options
Establishing positive routines, boundaries, and expectations
Time management and timetable support, promoting balance and accountability
Strategies to improve engagement, motivation, and attendance
Support with transitions between education settings
Ongoing review and adjustment of learning plans as circumstances change
This work is practical, collaborative, and evidence-informed, with an emphasis on helping families reduce stress, build confidence, and support young people to engage positively with learning over the longer term.
