Youth Mentoring Programme

£25.00

The Youth Mentor Program is open to all young aspiring athletes providing one-to-one mentoring for young people, combining pastoral care, performance coaching, and personal development support. Drawing on my experience in behavioural interventions, pastoral leadership, and high-performance coaching, I work with young people to identify barriers, set realistic goals, and develop the skills and mindset to succeed both in education and in sport.

The program is built around:

  • Individualised support: Understanding each young person’s unique challenges, circumstances, and goals.

  • Parental support: Understanding your childs needs, positively supporting outcomes and recognising good routines.

  • Time management support: Work around your school timetable, extra curricular activities, exam period and training load.

  • Structured goal-setting: Co-creating short- and long-term objectives, tracking progress, and celebrating achievements.

  • Engagement and consistency: Supporting attendance, motivation, and focus, whether in learning, training, or personal development.

  • Wellbeing and resilience: Providing guidance on emotional regulation, decision-making, and coping with pressure.

  • Stakeholder collaboration: Maintaining open communication with parents, guardians, and other relevant professionals to ensure holistic support.

The Youth Mentor Program is relationship-driven, evidence-informed, and practical. It blends coaching principles from sport with behavioural and pastoral expertise, helping young people develop confidence, responsibility, and the skills to navigate challenges effectively.

This program is aimed at young athletes of all sporting backgrounds. Each session is 40 minutes, and can be arranged online or in-person.
